Ok, so what exactly do I mean by this title?

Well, over the past decade the three major hitch companies have gone and merged on us into one huge conglomerate called Cequent.

Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese have all been bought by this corporation and are made under one roof now.

More and more, the differences between the brands are simply the fact that they now make a hitch, then slap a Hidden Hitch label on it and that's a Hidden Hitch. But it's the same hitch as the next one in the assembly line that they slapped a Draw-Tite label on.

Right. The Cequent catalog for 2008 now has all three brands in the catalog! Before this year it was not so and they were separate.

Is this good? Only time will tell. These three brands are not the only players in the game. You can still get a Valley or Curt hitch, but how long till Cequent buys these companies as well.
